LEWIS LAU TRAVELOGUE - EUROTRIP - November 2003

My brother Philip and I went on a 10 day trip in November of 2003. We stopped in London, Amsterdam, and Paris. These are the pictures taken during that trip.
The next morning (Sunday) Bernd accompanied us to Notre Dame before he flew back home... there was a small pet market nearby

We visited Les Halles, which houses one of the relics of Jesus Christ (so claims the "French version" of the bible, which Bernd said the French rewrote to make the ruling kings semi-dieties...

It was really beautiful inside!

Upstairs there were hundreds of stained glass depicting sections from the bible

Supposed this is the crown of thorns Christ wore when the Romans crucified him... hmmm
As it reached noon the room suddenly lit up and it became unbelievably colorful inside
Happy angels

The station next to Notre Dame
Where is the hunchback?
Thousands were headed to the chuch for Sunday Mass

After visiting The Cathedral of Notre Dame we walked around and had lunch in a small Italian restaurant nearby - only rule: serve beer, allow smoking, and NOT TOURISTY...
Back to take some more pictures of the Pompidou (sp?)
I remember I used to have a Geometry textbook with this building on its cover
Gigantic air ventilation system
A sculpture display at a nearby park
Everywhere you turn there is a small cafe serving bread and cheese and wine
The end of my European vacation with my brother Philip... here is a description of the high speed human transport belt that intrigued me so much...
