Okay now - new page on the web, new page in Paris - Philip and I decided not to be (too) bothered by these criminals...
Let's enjoy Paris!
No that is not our hotel - that was once the tallest building in Paris, in Montparnasse. Le Meridian was two blocks away...
Typical subway station in Paris, where unsuspecting tourists are conned every minute...
(Forget it! Forget it!)
Let me stare a few minutes at this pretty wall, so I can forget about those EVIL MEAN &^$%S!
What better place to forget bad things than the symbol of Paris itself...
The Eiffel Tower! All the troubles left behind. Now I am in Europe!
| And just when I thought I've taken all the pictures of The Eiffel Tower...
Thousands of strobe lights started blinking on the tower, like a huge Christmas tree! (Wonder if anyone with epileptic seizures gets warnings to not drive or walk around the tower when this happens?)
Sure looked pretty though
After 10 minutes, the blinking stopped... we walked towards the base...
From the bottom, looking up
The ticket counter/entrance
The elevator climbs up diagonally...
