LEWIS LAU TRAVELOGUE - EUROTRIP - November 2003

My brother Philip and I went on a 10 day trip in November of 2003. We stopped in London, Amsterdam, and Paris. These are the pictures taken during that trip.
Never knew where Leicester Square was, except for from one of my favorite Everything But The Girl songs, "Walking To You"... well - a picture of a sushi joint (and the Porsche driving by) around Leicester Square.
British Pubs
After lunch, we walked and shopped and walked some more...
A musical about Queen (the band)
Piccadilly Circus, a tourist spot (a common meeting point for Londoners)
The small section that Londoners alike are very proud of - the colorful displays (I just call them neon ad signs) at Piccadilly Circus - not as amazing when you compare them to places like Tokyo or Hong Kong, but pretty cool nontheless.

Realized that I needed to go the restroom (a direct result of the various pubs we visited that afternoon), so I do what I normally do - look for a McDonalds or a Burger King - there's one right next door! I went to the second floor, only to discover...
... that you have to pay to use the restroom!
What happens if one gets stuck in the middle? It would be an uncomfortable wait for the firemen to arrive, I suppose...
Right outside the McDonalds, another pay-per-use toilet.
After dinner in around "Chinatown", bumped into a bunch of Hari Krishnas...
Back to our hotel, The Regency Hotel in South Kensington
