A story 8 years in the making. Came home tonight from work and found a letter from the Immigration and Naturalization Services - I have an appointment to get finger-printed for my green card / resident status approval:
To think that the original application was filed mid-1993... I have waited way too long for this, that it almost seemed anticlimactic.
Called my brother Philip and now I will plan to get the ball rolling in the eventual visit back to Taiwan.

Congratulations Tom and Jess Lin on their baby girl Meghan (sp?)! Got the call at around 12:30am, 3/24/2002. I am so happy for you guys!
